World’s Fair Gallery is delighted to present our holiday show, HOLD TIGHT: CUPS + JOYFUL OBJECTS featuring artists from Anyhow Studio. The holiday collection is inspired by the everyday objects we keep close, share in celebrations, and enjoy as part of the landscape of our homes.

Please join us at World’s Fair Gallery for the opening reception on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and again on December 14th from 11:00 - 3:00 PM for our Solstice Party and ornament release.

Featuring: Artists from Anyhow Studio, handmade brooms by Emily Shapiro & Kitchen Utensils by Juan Ferrer of Spoon + Board.

The Halloween 'BOO'tique is ready for you — but are you ready for it?!!! You're invited to a show of frights and delights featuring 26 artists. World’s Fair Gallery showcases artworks and editions by emerging and established contemporary artists and designers in Providence, RI and greater New England. For FABRIC Arts Festival, it expands its networks to promote a dialogue between Chilean artist Magaly Ponce and Portuguese sculptor and ceramist João Rolaça.

This event is free and open to the public.

This is Catherine and Zoë’s second exhibition at WFG, and we are thrilled to have you join us for this special occasion.

**CAERULEA** is the third collection of works by Catherine Druken and Zoë Wyner. Like their earlier collaborations, CAERULEA brings to life reimagined iterations of folk imagery, drawing from their shared Ukrainian lineage. Inspired by the Delftware of the 17th century, Catherine Druken has infused Zoe Wyner’s ceramic works with signs of spring and simple domestic pleasures. The blue of CAERULEA furthers their mutual tendency to merge the old with the new; antiquities modernized. [Spring 2024]

World’s Fair Gallery is pleased to present ALL THE WORLDS, featuring photography by
Jonathan Pitts-Wiley, earthenware vessels by Victoria Wolf and glass blown by Jonathan
Watanabe of Studio Watanabe. All three artists are working with light and holding,
but with wild variations in approach. Jonathan Pitts-Wiley’s fine art portraiture
and documentary photography pay homage to life, creating opportunities for the viewer
to wonder. Through his background in theater, Pitts-Wiley creates conditions for his
photographs in which people can experience authentic responses, making his images a
generous extension of his own history. These photographs are vessels of moments, of
individuals, and of lives. Pitts-Wiley creates such a stillness in his portraits that a
moment can absorb time— a small piece of a vaster cycle through which to attain presence.
Everyone— subject, photographer, and viewer— has the opportunity to feel something.
The [mostly] black and white photographs are complemented by Studio Watanabe’s
luminescent glassworks, a collection that not only filters and distorts natural
light, but, in some cases, is wired to emit its own; and Victoria Wolf’s elemental
ceramics, which hold in them as much a sense of place as they do a vacancy to be
filled. Please join us at WFG for the opening reception on
