TUTTI FRUTTI : OBJECTS + PANTINGS
Avery Schuster, Eva Goodman & Nora Rabins
Avery Schuster is originally from Connecticut. She moved to Rhode Island to study painting at RISD. Avery paints from life to create a triangular relationship between a single object, the artist and the viewer as a way to appreciate the singularity of each passing moment. Avery teaches at Lincoln School and will be moving to NYC this fall to pursue her MFA at Pratt.
After working as a glass blower in Seattle, Eva moved to Providence to earn a masters degree in glass at RISD. She is a part time lecturer professor, production glass worker, and glass maker.Popular culture, nature and historical objects serve as inspiration.
Originally from Baltimore, Nora Rabins came to Rhode Island to study furniture design at RISD. She is often driven by incidental materials such as by-products or cast-offs, and draws from a sprawling arsenal of media; most habitually turning to steel. Nora is available for installation commissions and site-specific works.
